SALES SOLUTIONS AGENT

JOB DESCRIPTION
BASIC FUNCTION

A Sales Solutions Agent assists a prospect by helping educate and explain health plans
(Traditional Membership Plans, Medicare Supplement Plans, and/or Dental Vision Plans) that best suits the member’s needs during an inbound call. A Sales Solutions Agent will assist the customer with the application process and may enroll the member as needed. A Sales Solutions Agent may also provide support to existing members by answering questions or processing changes.

Sales Solutions Manager

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Solutions Agent is responsible for making inbound and outbound calls to existing members and new prospects to help guide them in selecting a health plan or to follow up from a previous interaction with the member.

  • Mus have State Health License;
  • Maintain State Health License along with Continuing Education requirements;
  • Know the details of all plans and guidelines we offer for FBHP and partnering state plans.
  • Articulate and communicate well over the phone;
  • Have a team mentality by working well, being punctual and being respectful to co- workers and Leadership;
  • Assist customers in enrolling in a health plan that is best suited to their particular needs and implementing the guidelines that go along with this process;
  • Understanding and learning the functions of how to use the computer programs: Salesforce,

Outlook, Filenet, CSP, Company Websites, Membership websites, Facets, Confluence,Cisco, WebEx;

  • Work overtime if needed during busy season;

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year Call Center Customer Experience is preferred but not required.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: A successful candidate for the Sales Solutions Agent position will possess the following skills and/or competencies:

  • Accountability – Demonstrates a consistent level of performance; strives to maintain a steady level of productivity; meets deadlines in daily responsibilities. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and think critically;
  • Knowledge of health insurance industry;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Leadership – Demonstrates ability to express self in all areas of communications, conveys ideas, concepts and facts in a logical, understandable and concise manner.

Demonstrates the ability to establish productive, friendly and professional relationships with peers and others;

  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Exel;
